Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a three-day tour of Nigeria – a former British colony – to promote the Invictus Games, founded by the Duke of Sussex in 2014, without their children.

The couple were received with royal honors in the country, the exact opposite of what happens every time Harry visits his homeland.

In fact, the “self-exiled” prince and black sheep of the royal family, every time he is in Britain now stays in a hotel while – a few days before Nigeria, he was in London but his father, King Charles, refused to meet him because of “loaded” program.

Additionally, Meghan Markle sneaked from California to London on Thursday, picked up Prince Harry and they flew together to Nigeria at the invitation of the country’s Chief of Defense Staff Christopher Musa.

Meghan and Harry made a visit reminiscent of a royal tour, with visits to schools and institutions as well as formal dinners.

During the third day they arrived in Lagos and visited the ‘Ilupeju Senior Grammar School’ where they attended a special basketball match of the Giants of Africa organization in collaboration with the Archewell Foundation.

A few hours earlier speaking at the “Woman in Leadership” event, Meghan Markle referred to her two children, 5-year-old Archie and almost 3-year-old Lilibet.

“Balances always change you. What was okay ten years ago is now changing,” he said. “Becoming a mother has always been a dream of mine. And I am so lucky that we have two beautiful, healthy, very talkative sweet children. I love being a mum’ she added during a visit to Lightway Academy revealing that Lilibet loves singing and dancing, while Archie enjoys building.
