Italian luxury jewelery house Maison Buccellati may have a history dating back to 1919 Milan, but it has chosen Venice, the Italian city renowned for its exquisite goldsmithing tradition, to host a major retrospective entitled ‘The Prince of Goldsmiths: Buccellati Rediscovering the Classics”.

The exhibition on Venice’s Giudecca Island in Oficine room 800 celebrates Buccellati’s illustrious 100-plus-year history, combining the gold and silver creations of family members with the themes and masterpieces of classical Italian art in contemporary video installations.

The Balich Wonder Studio production exhibition, curated by Alba Capellieri, focuses on the characteristic themes of Buccellati’s creations, highlighting the mastery and value of the “classic”.
