In fact, the actor’s sister, Nitsa Stamatopoulou, appeared upset about what happened. “It was sacrilege what happened, it is possible to break a man’s grave, whoever he is,” he said, among other things.

Cooler, two of his three daughters took the stand and spoke about the unexpected damage.

“Thank you all so much for your interest in Dad and his final residence.
The explanation is simple. They exhumed the adjacent graves and an accident occurred. We spoke with Mr. Karanikolas, the Director of Municipal Property and with Mr. Kytidis, the person in charge of A Cemetery, and they explained to us that everything will be fixed immediately. They are all polite and stand by us. My mother, Theano, is already there with the marble that made the tomb and they will fix everything. Thank you very much for your interest and love.
