The magazine Tatler presented a new portrait of the Princess of Wales, her Kate Middleton, on its cover to honor her strength and dignity. The cover of the British magazine is dominated by this particular painting, which was created by Hannah Uzor. Her source of inspiration was a dinner of the mother of three children.

Kate – who has retired from public duty amid her cancer diagnosis – did not sit down to pose for the artwork. Instead, Uzor used different photos of the princess, with the result not being particularly impressive, according to many users.

Attending King Charles’ first state dinner at Buckingham Palace in November 2022, the 42-year-old princess stole the show in a white, jewel-encrusted gown by sweetheart Jenny Packham as she hosted the South African president.

Featuring a stunning cape, the dazzling gown was paired with a tiara and diamond and pearl earrings belonging to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana, which are detailed in Uzor’s painting.

Regarding the preparation of the portrait, Uzor stated: “When you can’t meet the person depicted in person, you have to look at what you can find and piece together the human moments of him revealed in different photographs: does he have a particular way of standing or holding his head or hands?” Does it have a repetitive gesture?

Kate has really lived up to her role, she was born for it. She carries herself with such dignity, elegance and grace,” she said. And he added: “I feel with her the joy of motherhood”.
