The Saturday June 1st, the viewers of SKAI travel to the Swiss Alps, to the luxurious alpine resort of St. Moritz, located at an altitude of 1800m and has been a winter paradise for more than 150 years. It is built there Kulm Hotel, the oldest hotel in the area, which many consider to be the birthplace of winter tourism. In fact, it is said that the first owner of the hotel made a bet with his summer guests: to come back for a vacation in the winter and if they don’t have a good time, give them the cost of their stay. Naturally, visitors were fascinated by the winter scenery, and thus the industry of winter tourism was born! After all, many of the winter sports as we know them today were improvised by early customers.
The Kulm Hotel has 167 rooms as well as residences for long-term lease. The hotel’s customers come again and again to enjoy, not only the luxurious services it offers but also for the breathtaking view that is the essence of St. Moritz.
