The best impressions from enchanting landscape of Meteora, Kalambaka and Preveza but also the unique experiences of thematic tourism that they experienced in Greece as a whole, are transferred to Serbia by the journalists and influencers who participated in the familiarization trip (Press Trip) organized by EOT in the region.

From May 22 to 26, 2024, the Foreign Service of E.O.T. of Serbia, carried out a Press Trip in the area of ​​Preveza and Kalambaka, in collaboration with the Municipalities of Preveza and Meteora.

The trip was attended by representatives of the largest news agencies (Euronews), Radio and Television Serbia (RTS), other major media of the country (BLIC, Telegraf, Hello Magazine), as well as some of the most important influencers of the neighboring country.

The guests, in addition to visiting the main natural and cultural resources of the destinations (e.g. Ancient Nikopolis, I.N. of Agios Charalambos, I.M. of Agios Stefanos in Meteora, Prehistoric Cave of Theopetra), had the opportunity to enjoy special thematic experiences (cruise in Amvrakikos gulf, tasting of local ouzo in a distillery, wine tasting under the umbrella of Meteora, tasting of local dishes).

The trip piqued the interest of journalists, who were charmed by the hospitality of the inhabitants, but also from the perspectives that each destination has for the development of thematic forms of tourism. They gathered the necessary information and audio-visual material in order to record their impressions of the experiences they had.
