Agatha Christie’s great-grandson James Pritchard will executive produce the series alongside Susan McKee and Chris Sussman
Agatha Christie’s detective novel, “The Seven Dials Mystery” (The seven clocks), scriptwriter and producer Chris Chibnall, creator of “Broadchurch”, has undertaken to adapt for a Netflix series.
“Agatha Christie’s story has captivated mystery fans for generations, but there’s still more to explore for audiences on Netflix” said Ann Mensah, Netflix’s VP of UK content.

“A hoax goes horribly, murderously wrong,” reads the official description of “The Seven Dials Mystery,” first released in 1929. “Jerry Wade had proven himself a champion sleeper, so the other guests decided to play a prank on him. Eight alarms were set to go off, one after the other, starting at 6:30 a.m., but when morning came, one clock was missing and the prank failed, with tragic consequences.”.
The central character of the detective novel is Lady Eileen Brent or Buddle Brent.
