There were many times that Patrícia Poeta became emotional when talking about Levanta Rio Grande in a telephone conversation with the F5 last Friday (17). Organized and put together in just two weeks by the Globo presenter, the festival will feature artists and will be broadcast on Canal Futura, Globoplay and YouTube this Monday (17th), at 8pm.

The event takes place at Teatro Vibra, in São Paulo, and will feature important names in music, such as Luiza Possi, Zezé Di Camargo, Luciano Camargo, Tiago Iorc, Wanessa Camargo, Lexa, Arlindinho, Paula Lima, Luciana Mello, Thierry and Jeito Moleque .

The show will last three hours. It was Patrícia, alone, who came up with the idea and carried out all the mobilization, which was supported by Caldi Comunicação and Agência Hit.

“Rio Grande do Sul still needs a lot of things. The idea of the event, in these three hours, is for people to be able to donate what they can”, says Patrícia.

The organization began after Patrícia Poeta covered the Encontro, where she led her daily program on Globo in the state for ten days. As a state representative, Patricia felt she needed to help people in some way.

“That coverage changed me a lot. I felt that I needed to do more. I saw 80-year-old women who still need help, people who are at the end of their lives and cannot be forgotten. The event is very much about that”, he stated.

In addition to the singers, Patrícia Poeta also invited artists from broadcasters other than Globo to participate. “Everyone was very helpful, there is still a lack of release from broadcasters. But everyone offered to help in some way. There are a lot of people donating, working off duty to help”, she revealed.

Patrícia Poeta admits she is tired of putting together a grand event for two weeks, but says she is fulfilled by the way she can help her state try to overcome the catastrophe.

“I’m very tired. I do a daily morning program, from Monday to Friday, which is very busy. But I don’t care. This is the moment. And I’m not even speaking as a legal entity, but as an individual. It’s my obligation to help more , try harder, for those who need it”, she comments emotionally.

Levanta Rio Grande will have all proceeds donated to institutions that are helping people in calamity situations in the state.
