Rafael Cortez, 45, comedian and presenter of Matéria Prima (TV Cultura), used social networks this Sunday (27) to announce that he will be a father for the first time. He published a photo with his hand on the belly of his girlfriend, Marcella Calhado, who is 14 weeks pregnant with a girl, who will be named Nara.
“Here comes the greatest love of my life. I always knew, even in the face of my biggest doubts, emptinesses and difficulties, that one day I would be… a father! And this will happen: Má is pregnant”, wrote the comedian,
Cortez said that with the arrival of his daughter, a new phase in his existence begins. “And I’m already sure it will be the best of the journeys I’ve lived so far. It’s quite a blessing!”
The presenter stated that he and his girlfriend will give all the love and the best of them for the daughter that is coming. “I’m happy, emotional, sensitive, tearful, scared, anxious, in love, all at the same time. But most of all, I’m happy!”
Marcela published the same photo as Cortez on social media and said that there could not be a more perfect partner to share the realization of this dream. She also said that the presenter loves his son, Pedro, as if he were his and for a mother that is the most important thing. “Friend, sensitive, partner, my biggest booster and apart from my father, he is the most responsible man I know, that’s my love!”.
According to Marcela, the presenter is feeling all the pregnancy symptoms that she has. “She gets sick of everything, cries for no reason, is sensitive and is also gaining weight with me, this is our symbiosis. Beware of pregnant people”, she said jokingly.
