The so-called stalker thrillers now have their place of honor on the Netflix platform. To this growing list is added Through My Window, a new film that is expected to be released in the coming months.
Through My Window focuses on a girl who falls in love with her neighbor
Raquel is a teenager who has a more-than-obvious crush on her neighbor. They may not have any communication, but she is determined to make him fall in love with her. From the few moments we see them exchanging in the trailer, we understand that Ares does not have the best impression of her. She, however, is not afraid and follows him wherever he goes. And while he takes care to remind her that he is not his guy, she seems even more stubborn.
The peculiarities of the film are several
Initially, not only the protagonist, but also other characters in the film have names in Greek mythology. This is something that will logically have an explanation by the end of the film. It is also worth knowing that this story started with Wattpad. Wattpad is something like a social media platform for young writers who want to share their stories. Ariana Godoy, a Venezuelan writer, also wrote this story in 2016. Later this story was transferred to a book and now to the big screen.
It makes sense to think that this is another cliché, romantic movie from the trailer. However, those who happened to read the story first, have the opposite view. The trailer does a very good job of not revealing any twists in the story. However, Through My Window will pleasantly surprise you in every way.

Marçal Forés took over the director’s duties for this project and the film will be released on February 4, 2022.
