“I love Tim”Bellucci had stated. “And I have a lot of respect for Tim Burton. I love this dream world where the monsters are kind, like we can turn our dark sides into something bright, forgiving. Tim Burton’s films speak volumes for this.”she had stated in an interview with the French “Elle”.

Monica Bellucci had also spoken about her age, explaining that she has come to terms with old age. “I am like all other people. I tell myself that it is useless to go against something that is stronger than me. And if time flies, it means you’re lucky to still be here. Biological age has consequences, we no longer enjoy the advantages of youth. The important thing is to continue to feel good and do things that I like and that stimulate me.”

Despite being famous for her incredible beauty – she made her modeling debut aged just 16 – Monica insisted her success is about more than her looks. “I’m 59 and still working, so I don’t think it’s just about beauty. The initial curiosity ends up in the void if there is nothing else behind it.”
