The Hollywood sky has become a medium for displaying messages, and a mysterious one was addressed to Prince Harry.
On a sunny afternoon in the city last Thursday (11), a small plane carrying a banner with the words “Prince Harry: Investigate Mom’s Death” caught the attention of residents. Videos of the moment went viral on social media.
According to the international press, it is not yet known who paid for the message to be displayed. Princess Diana, mother of the Duke of Sussex, died in August 1997 in a car accident. The vehicle was being followed by paparazzi who wanted to photograph her with her boyfriend, the Egyptian Dodi al Fayed, in Paris.
The death shocked the world at the time and fueled conspiracy theories. The flight with the banner occurred hours before the duke was due to speak at an event and receive an award, which sparked controversy.
In his speech, the British politician said that the bond between mother and son is eternal and transcends even the greatest losses. “I am not here as Prince Harry, winner of the Pat Tillman Award, but as a voice on behalf of the Invictus Games Foundation and the thousands of veterans and military personnel from more than 20 countries.”
He received the Pat Tillman Award, named after a US soldier who died in the line of duty in 2004. Earlier this month, when Harry was nominated for the honour, the soldier’s mother said she was shocked that the award had gone to a controversial figure.
