In a private ceremony, the Olivia Munn and John Mulaney made their relationship official, bringing along their 2-year-old son, Malcolm. The ceremony was performed by actor Sam Waterston at his home in New York, witnessed by his wife.

According to an anonymous source to Entertainment Weekly: “The couple got engaged in the fall of 2023 and wanted to keep the ceremony out of the public eye. He proposed to her with an antique ring. Their wedding was everything they wanted, the two of them and their son.”

The 44-year-old actress and her 41-year-old partner went public with their relationship in the summer of 2021 and welcomed their son in November of that year. Recently, Munn faced a major challenge when she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy. She shared that they decided to freeze her eggs in case they wanted to grow their family through surrogacy.

The actress, now 43, revealed that a mammogram she had this winter came back normal, but because of her medical and family history, her gynecologist recommended she get a genetic test (Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Score), which showed a 37% risk of developing breast cancer.

That assessment led her to an MRI and ultrasound, which revealed the diagnosis two months after the mammogram. Within thirty days of the biopsy, she underwent a double mastectomy. “One day I felt perfectly fine and the next I woke up in the hospital, after a ten hour operationMunn said.

I’m lucky that I caught it at a time when I had options and I wish the same for every woman who gets diagnosed,” added the actress. “Ask your doctor to do the genetic risk assessment test so that, if the percentage comes out above 20%, you undergo a mammogram and an MRI every year from the age of 30».

Recently, Munn announced that she completed the necessary surgeries, including a fifth, a hysterectomy, “in hopes of helping other women dealing with this terrible disease feel less alone».
