Marcello Camargo, son of Hebe Camargo (1929-2012), surprised the presenter’s fans by telling his mother about his resentment with a colleague. He said he felt resentful towards Gugu Liberato (1959-2019) because of a report made by the communicator after Hebe’s death showing an abandoned mansion belonging to her ex-husband Lélio Ravagnani.
“I have a lot of resentment towards Gugu. He did the story about Lélio’s abandoned house, saying it belonged to Hebe Camargo. That bothered me a lot, I had to give about 500 interviews explaining that it didn’t belong to my mother and to this day, people ask me: ‘Why did you let the house stay in that state?'”, said the man who hosts the program “Café com Selinho” on YouTube.
Son of Décio Capuano, an imported car dealer and Hebe’s first husband, Marcello lives in Santa Fé, in the interior of São Paulo, and explained that the property was not part of the presenter’s assets, but rather belonged to the family of the businessman, who died in July 2000.
He continued: “I was very hurt by Gugu because he wanted to do a story in my real house, which was in Cidade Jardim, and Claudio [Pessutti, sobrinho e empresário de Hebe] didn’t allow it because he was living there.”
Marcello said that Gugu was not aware of his hurt. “He didn’t know. “Do you have no idea how much they tormented me and continue to torment me to this day? Now, of course, there is much less repercussion. But there are still traces of evil and gossip because of this report.”
