BBB 22: Tiago Abravanel says he gave up on reality to not ‘freak out’

Tiago Abravanel said on Monday night (28) that he pressed the resign button of Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo) for mental health reasons and not to lose himself in the game. The statement was made during a live on his Instagram profile.

Abravanel said that BBB is an extremely psychological game with human beings and not chess pieces. For him, who always put relationships before the game, it was very difficult to continue on the program. “I thought about relationships and I couldn’t play, because they were strong in my heart. Every attitude I took in the game went against what I felt and I didn’t know how to deal with it”, explained Abravanel.

The actor recalled the day he was not chosen to be a duo by any of the other participants in the Leader’s Test – not even his friend Arthur Aguiar – and was left alone in the house with Larissa, who had injured her foot. Abravanel highlighted that the sister said that he would be her priority in the game and hours later found out that she would vote for him.

He admitted that at this point he once again began to doubt himself, questioning whether his attitudes were cruel and whether he was being false to people for not choosing a side. “[Neste momento] I understood that this was part of the game, and if I did, I would be screwed, lose my mental health and really freak out.”

The actor also said of the affection he feels for Aguiar, but that he did not ally with him in the game due to different priorities. Some of Arthur’s thoughts and alliances were not a priority for me within the game, it’s just that dealing with this situation wasn’t easy for me “, he admits.

Abravanel stated that he knew that singer Naiara Azevedo, eliminated from the BBB, would be his biggest difficulty inside the house because he would have to deal with this inheritance from the outside world. “She’s my friend out here and I don’t know how she saw my behavior.”
