Strong reactions have erupted from the move of Kyle Gass, a member of the band Tenacious Dwho joked about the assassination attempt on him Donald Trump.

In fact, as reported by ABC News, actor Jack Black’s band is canceling its tour and putting “all future creative plans on hold.”

Gus joked during a concert saying “don’t miss Trump next time”, after being told to make a wish while blowing out the candles on a birthday cake. The incident happened in Sydney, Australia, where he is on tour.

Gus, 64, apologized, writing that the remark was “grossly inappropriate, dangerous and a terrible mistake.”

“I do not condone violence of any kind, in any form, against anyone,” Gus said on Instagram. “What happened was a tragedy and I am incredibly sorry for my severe lack of judgment. I deeply apologize to those I have disappointed and I am truly sorry for any pain I have caused.”
