Keanu Reeves he also made his debut in writing and is releasing his first book titled “The Book of Elsewhere”. With the help of one of his favorite authors, the famous British China Miéville, the book in its 352 pages tells the story of an immortal warrior who spends millennia trying to understand his immortality.

It is based on a comic book series written by the actor called ‘BRZRKR’ in 2021 with writer Matt Kidd and famous illustrator Ron Gurney and has sold more than two million copies.

It is noted that “BRZRKR” is set to be turned into a live-action film starring and produced by Reeves as well as an animated spinoff from Netflix.

“It surprised me in the creative process, what is revealed in ourselves. Maybe it’s a kind of speech. Maybe I’m thinking about death,” said the famous protagonist in an interview with the New York Times and added: “Maybe I don’t understand the violence of the world. I don’t understand how we all know we’re going to die and kill each other over things that in hindsight aren’t that important. I also wonder about the technology. I don’t know why we are in such a hurry to get off the planet and go digital. Maybe I wonder about love too. Why is death so strong and love so fragile and yet the most powerful force on the planet?’

And he concludes: “I like to think about these things, and I think I’ve found a way to put them into a book.”

According to The Daily Beast, The Book of Elsewhere will hit shelves on July 23.
