Star of the film ‘MaXXXine’ and with a career on the rise for a few years in Hollywood, British actress Mia Goth, 30, lives in London and can’t wait to come to Brazil again to visit her grandmother, with whom she lived for a while in Rio when she was three years old. “Living with her was the favorite part of my childhood,” said Mia in a recent interview. “My grandmother is the biggest inspiration in my life.”

She is the granddaughter of Maria Gladys, 84, an actress and muse of marginal cinema, who responds in kind: “It’s a huge joy to be her grandmother. Mia is amazing,” she says, before showering her with (more) compliments. This is also what Zeca Pagodinho is always doing when it comes to his children’s children. He pampers them, compliments them, and likes to be with them. He is crazy about his grandchildren and doesn’t hide it from anyone. “I live for them, I’m in love,” he told F5.

Preta Gil, 49, the proud grandmother of Sol de Maria, 8, has already stated in a show that the girl, daughter of her son Francisco, was responsible for her strength when facing treatment for colon cancer. “Grandma is here because of you, because I want to see you grow up, beautiful, free.” How can you not be moved? On this Grandparents’ Day, see in the gallery below some families in recent declarations of love — with only one dispute between relatives, the fight between Beth Szafir, 77, and Sasha, 26. Beth made a my fault and said he regretted saying he didn’t miss his granddaughter. “It was silly of me to say that. It was ridiculous.”
