Anitta puts audience to dance under heavy rain in São Paulo

Not even the heavy rain that hit the city of São Paulo this Tuesday (1st) stopped hurricane Anitta, 28, which closed with mastery and a mega production the last day of Carnival shows in the City, at the Jockey Clube de São Paulo. Punctually, she took the stage and put the audience to dance in the rain, showing why she is considered one of the greatest Brazilian artists today.

“Is it Carnival you want? It’s Carnival you will have”, said Anitta, before playing a more axé version of the hit “Vai Malandra” (2017). At times, she also played percussion, in a part of the show dedicated to the classics of axé music, especially the songs of singer Ivete Sangalo, 49.

In the carnival marathon, Anitta bet on several cropped looks as in previous shows. For the revelry in São Paulo, Anitta opted for a very sensual purple outfit, complete with an eye patch and a sword, which she shared on social media.

In the middle of the show, a piece of the stage structure fell into the audience due to the wind and heavy rain. However, no one was hurt, and from the stage, Anitta stopped everything and asked the fans to move away and let the event’s production remove the object. “I’ll only keep singing here if you guys make room. I can’t see you moving and I won’t sing, huh”, she warned. In the end, everything was resolved and she came back with everything.

Among the friends who honored the singer were actors Maisa, 19, Eri Johnson, 60, Carol Marra, 44, country singer Yasmin Santos, 24, former boxer Popó, Acelino Popó Freitas, 46, in addition to ex-BBBs Fernanda Keulla, 35, Felipe Prior, 29, and Tiago Abravanel, 34.

Abravanel commented on his withdrawal from Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo), two days after pressing the button. “I don’t regret at all that I entered and pressed the button, because to press the button you have to have a lot of courage,” said the actor and singer, who admitted that it was not an easy decision to leave the reality show, but still an extremely conscious decision.

Before the country duo, the carioca pagode group DDP Directorate performed on stage at the Jockey Clube de São Paulo. “We are happy with the affection of the fans, because we are reaping the fruits of our effort. We created the group because of our passion for music and how it can transform people’s energy.”
