Presenter Silvio Santos, 93, was admitted to the Albert Einstein hospital again this Thursday (1) to undergo tests. The incident occurred days after he was discharged due to a case of H1N1 flu.

The information was confirmed by F5 with sources. SBT’s press office confirms the hospitalization and says that he returned to undergo imaging tests, which cannot be performed remotely, as they do with x-rays.

There is no forecast for his discharge, but the tendency is for Silvio to return home much faster than what happened last week, when he had to stay in the hospital for four days due to H1N1.

Silvio Santos has been away from the screens since 2022. His program is now hosted by his daughter, Patrícia Abravanel, with success on Sunday nights.

People close to the presenter, such as comedian Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega, from the program “A Praça É Nossa”, say they do not believe he will appear in front of the cameras again.

In the coming weeks, SBT will launch its streaming platform, which will feature a documentary about the career and life of Silvio Santos, with images and an unpublished statement from Silvio Santos.
