Lilia Cabral was the victim of an attempted scam on a messaging app. What the actress didn’t expect was for the criminal to make a statement after being unmasked. “I’m your fan. Send me an audio message,” the scammer asked.
Lilia’s daughter, Giulia Bertolli, was the one who showed the attempted scam and joked: “When you’re the daughter of a famous person and even the scammer is a fan of your mother.” In the video, posted on social media, the actress also showed the messages in which the man pretends to be Giulia, and asks her mother to add his new number.
The criminal wrote in the shared print: “Good afternoon, mom. Add my new number, ok? I’m transferring my personal contacts to this number.”
Lilia Cabral quickly responds: “It’s a scam.” After discovering that he was talking to the actress herself, the criminal declares himself. “Is it really you? I’m your fan. Send me an audio message,” he adds.
In the comments, users joked about the situation. They made references to Lilia’s characters: “Right at Pereirão!”, said one user, remembering the artist’s role as Griselda, in “Fina Estampa” (2011). “If you’re going to send audio, you have to be playing Marta!” commented another follower, remembering the villain from Páginas da Vida (2006).
