Nahim’s death investigation remains under court secrecy

Investigations into the death of singer Nahim are under judicial secrecy. The singer was found dead at his home in Taboão da Serra, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, on June 13. Since then, the police have been investigating the case.

At the time of death, the Civil Police informed the Sheet that Nahim had fallen down the stairs. “Military police were called to respond to the incident and, at the scene, found that the victim was alone at home when he fell down the stairs.” However, according to the statement, the body was sent to the IML and the case was registered as a suspicious death at the 1st DP of Taboão da Serra.

Later, Andrea Andrade, his ex-wife, requested that the investigation be kept confidential. The information was confirmed to F5 by the Public Security Department of São Paulo. However, she came to social media this Wednesday (21) to inform that the conclusions are already ready and that she requested the breaking of the sugilo, but her request was not met.

“The judge denied the removal of the judicial secrecy to preserve Nahim’s image, to preserve the investigation, to conclude the report,” said the former A Grande Conquista on Instagram.

Andreia also spoke again about Noelle, the late singer’s daughter. On the day of the wake, she forbade her heiress from attending her father’s funeral, since Nahim had never fulfilled his dream of meeting his grandchildren, due to a disagreement with his daughter.

“Now there’s no point in his daughter coming either. I want to make it very clear that she shouldn’t come, because she won’t go in. She won’t see her father, she won’t say goodbye to her father. From the moment she considers that she doesn’t have a father, she shouldn’t come either. Be warned, don’t waste your time,” said Andreia in an interview with SBT.

This Wednesday, she mentioned Noelle again and said that Nahim’s daughter hired the singer’s lawyer: “If she didn’t want to know about her father at the funeral, what interest does she have now? And why did this lawyer side with her, when he was against her mother?”

Nahim Jorge Elias Júnior became famous in the 1980s, when he won over the public on talk shows and won the “Qual é a Música?” segment on the now-defunct Programa Silvio Santos. In 1984, Nahim was a judge on Cassino do Chacrinha, on TV Globo.
