Cauã Reymond took advantage of a few weeks off to enjoy one of his favorite sports: surfing. He used social media in the early hours of this Friday (23) to tell about the ordeal he went through in Indonesia after a sequence of high waves on Oluato beach, Bali.
The actor, who is scheduled to appear in the remake of “Vale Tudo”, had his surfboard broken and had to swim for a long time to get out of the sea: “It took me an hour and a half swimming, without a surfboard, to get to another beach. What a mess! Strong current, I tried to turn around, I took the whole series on my head, I had to get out there at Thomas Beach”, he explained.
In the midst of the suffocation, Cauã even saw another surfer in the same situation. “I want to thank Rafael, who was also surfing for the first time here in Bali. I also didn’t know how to get out, he was like a guardian angel, me for him, him for me.” He lamented the loss of his surfing equipment: “I’m going to miss the board.”
After the scare, Cauã said he intends to buy another board and surf there again. The actor also said he learned a life lesson from the episode: “Every now and then, we go through some tough times and have to look straight into the eye of the storm. You can’t lower your head. Raise your head and think about how to get out of each situation.”
