Jennifer Lopez reportedly feels “relieved” after her divorce from Ben Affleck despite the fact that she doesn’t seem to want to end their marriage just yet.

“It was incredibly difficult for her that Ben chose to walk away from their marriage and move on with his life, leaving her behind,” a source told People Monday.

“He didn’t want a divorce. He wanted to understand things. They love each other. Jennifer is not the type to just give up. It was almost torture for her to wait.”

“Her family and friends agree that it was the right decision,” the source continued, explaining that Lopez is “surrounded by a lot of love and support” and “will be fine” because “she is strong and always comes out on top.”

Lopez, 55, has not been seen in public since her divorce from Affleck, 52, became official two years after their marriage.

The singer filed for divorce without the help of a lawyer and listed the date of their separation as April 26.

Ben Affleck, meanwhile, was snapped in Los Angeles picking up his order at his Brentwood, California rental home on Saturday.

That same day, a source told Page Six that the actor was spending time with Kick Kennedy.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr’s 36-year-old daughter Kick Kennedy and Ben Affleck were spotted hanging out at the Beverly Hills Hotel Polo Lounge and other Los Angeles hotspots.

He also appeared in good spirits on an outing with close friend Matt Damon and his wife Luciana at Italian restaurant Toscana Sunday.

Ben Affleck reportedly confided in his “Good Will Hunting” co-star during his split from Jennifer Lopez.

The former couple’s marital issues began during their honeymoon in August 2022 as paparazzi followed them around Italy’s Lake Como.

“He was unhappy with the paparazzi following them around,” a source said. “She’s an international superstar and she acted like it was a surprise that they were being followed.”
