Isabel said she had received a lot of criticism and was relieved that the situation had been clarified by the doctor. “This is the greatest proof that I wasn’t lying. My illness was terminal, I had an estimated life expectancy. I wasn’t sure if the illness would stabilize. It stabilized and I’m not a terminal patient. I’m a patient with palliative care,” she said.

Behne explained that Isabel’s clinical condition is now stable with a small tumor and stagnant growth. “She is under palliative care.
