Pocah says she almost went blind after being attacked by an ex-partner

About to release her autobiographical album “Cria de Caxias”, Pocah has already been releasing some tracks and one of the most talked about is “Livramento”. In the song, the singer exposes an ex-partner and reports having been the victim of an abusive relationship. “God, thank you so much for the deliverance that was given, you took all evil away from my path and didn’t leave my heart alone. Thank you for not giving up on me because I almost gave up on myself”, says an excerpt from the song.

Pocah recalls some difficult moments she went through and said that she suffered several attacks. She said that in the last attack she almost went blind. “I screamed and asked for help because I couldn’t see. I said I was blind and that I wanted to go to the hospital. This person took me and I only heard other people telling him not to take me, that he would be arrested… Anyway,” she said.

She then continued: “After that episode, I said I couldn’t go back to that house. Never again. I didn’t go back. I said I would never go back and I didn’t,” she said.

The BBB 21 contestant acknowledged that she was a strong woman in facing domestic violence and its consequences. “I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety by doctors. Thank God, today, everything is under control. When I say, ‘God, thank you very much’ it is because the only thing that stopped me from dying was God. I’m here because he didn’t allow it,” explained the singer.
