‘I never wanted to be a father, I didn’t give a damn’, says Eliezer

In an interview with Daniela Albuquerque on Sensacional (RedeTV!), Eliezer opened up about his doubts regarding fatherhood. Father of Lua, one year old, and Ravi, due to be born in November, the former BBB said he had no dream of being a father until he found out about his wife Viih Tube’s first pregnancy.

“I never wanted to be a father. I think I had a late adolescence, so in the phase between 25 and 30 years old, when people usually think more about fatherhood and the future, I didn’t give a damn about that,” he confessed.

The former BBB also spoke about the criticism the couple has been facing online regarding Lua’s weight. “We started introducing her to solid foods and we didn’t know how to balance the amount of food with the amount of milk and she started gaining weight. Then the attacks on Lua’s weight started. This destroyed me, it destabilized me emotionally,” he said.

Eliezer believes that the malicious comments about his daughter’s weight were made worse by the fact that she was a girl. “If it’s a boy, he’s strong. If it’s a girl, she’s obese and needs bariatric surgery. And they said that about a six-month-old baby,” Eliezer recalls.

Also in the interview, the influencer revealed turbulent episodes from his childhood amid his parents’ separation. “My mother, at the time, tried to take her own life a few times. Nowadays, looking back on everything, I think my mother went to rehab. We went to live with my father, but he said she went on a trip to rest.” The program will air this Thursday, at 10:50 pm, on RedeTV!.
