The play, produced by Empire Street Productions, will be staged at the Theater Royal Brighton from 13 to 18 January 2025 and will then transfer to The Duke of York’s Theater in London from 24 January to 12 April.
“What is ancient and what is modern?” Carson’s translation raises this question. It’s an exciting challenge to work on Sophocles’ tragedy, through Carson’s words and on The Duke of York’s beautiful scene with Brie Larson.” said director Daniel Fish.
