Team bronze medalist at the 2024 Olympics, Flavia Saraiva had a meeting with Katy Perry at Cidade do Rock this Wednesday (18), in Rio. The gymnast surprised the singer by giving her one of the leotards she took to the competition in Paris as a gift.
A fan of the American, Flavinha chose the blue model, printed with golden stones forming the word “Brazil”. The look is part of the collection designed by another gymnast on the Brazilian team: Jade Barbosa. Katy also saw the photo album of the athletes at the Olympic Games and thanked her for the gift.
The singer of “Firework”, “I Kissed a Girl” and “California Gurls” met with Brazilian fans at Cidade do Rock in the late afternoon. The group exclusively listened to the singer’s next album, titled “143”. The worldwide release of the new album is scheduled for Friday (20). On the same day, she will perform at Rock in Rio as the main attraction on the Palco Mundo stage.
Earlier, Katy Perry made an appearance on the program Estrela da Casa, on Globo. The singer asked the housemates to sing a song, and the group sang a part of “Teenage Dream”. Next, Unna X, MC Mayarah, Thália and Gael sang other songs.
