Rock in Rio was a great opportunity for artists to do advertising campaigns with the festival’s brands. This Sunday (22) alone, actor Caio Castro visited six stands, divided between brand activations and VIP appearances.
“Man, I don’t think I’ve ever done six booths at once [risos]. Actually, there wasn’t any show that I liked, that I really wanted to see. But there are people who came for the first time who work with me, so I’m here. There’s enough time, right? We finished around 10 pm, now let’s enjoy it”, he says.
Asked if the amount he earns from activations was good, he says: “It’s enough.”
Another opportunity the actor saw to earn a little extra money was with the controversy two years ago, when he spoke about the obligation of men to pay the bill for women. But he doesn’t seem to be bothered by the subject.
“As incredible as it may seem, I never imagined that this would generate so much. But it’s cool. I do a lot of work in relation to this, with this hook. If you give us a lemon, we make lemonade, it’s part of it,” he says.
In May of this year, he decided to take a break from his acting career to pursue a career as a pilot. “I’ve been rehearsing this move since 2022. I tried to do both at the same time, but it’s difficult. I thought I could work with high performance on both sides, but it’s difficult,” he says.
“And then I had to make a decision. I dedicated almost 18 years to TV. Then I think my heart spoke louder for the race, for the track. I structured this decision, it was well thought out, well organized. And that’s it, I’m happy”, says the now pilot.
