Fiuk reveals his battle with addiction after being hospitalized: ‘Cheer for me’

Fiuk used social media to vent this Monday (23). The actor and singer said that he is starting a fight to quit smoking, a habit that has tormented his family for years. “I ask for patience these days now. I am fighting once and for all to quit smoking. We start out as a tantrum, as a joke,” began the actor who sought medical help.

The former BBB contestant was admitted to a hospital in São Paulo to undergo tests and begin treatment. He says he hopes this will be a permanent procedure in his life. “You’re surrounded by this energy and it’s really annoying. Root for me,” Fiuk asked his fans.

Next, the son of Fábio Jr. and visual artist Cristina Karthalian shared that the whole family smokes, which makes it even more complicated to give up the habit: “My father smokes, my mother and my grandfather smoked. Everyone in my family smokes. It’s very difficult to get home and smell that cigarette, you know?” said Fiuk.

During his participation in BBB 21 (he came in third place), the singer surprised the audience with the amount of cigarettes he took during his stay of just over three months in the house. After the reality show, on Globo, Fiuk tried to give up the habit, but was unsuccessful.
