– All of us who follow your progress, feel that things have come easy to you in this job. Are you feeling lucky?

The truth is that to get somewhere, you need to cross a road. This road is not always paved with rose petals. I was lucky enough to start at a very young age in this job, I love it. I try every time to keep the verb “play” in mind, because that’s what we actually do, and to get lost in my roles and collaborations.

People may see an image, but that image is not 100% definitely true. To get somewhere, you need work, luck, patience, effort, trust in yourself and in a plan, in a vision. You enter into a process of fighting with yourself every day».

-Have you faced the difficult sides of this profession?

My generation we are children of financial crisis. In other words, we worked a lot without necessarily paying off in terms of money. This difficulty, however, now results in something very beautiful and productive. So I think every person should look at their life based on what comes to them. I haven’t looked back. On the contrary, I am very happy about what has been done.

I am happy for the difficult times I experienced. The truth is that this job has more sorrows than joys. So I try to enjoy these little moments of respite that are given to me».

-How much has publicity changed your life?

I had the very great opportunity to start at the age of 11. So if we divide life into cycles, I’ve had three different beginnings where I’ve seen quite a few things in my teenage years, young adulthood and who I am now. So I don’t think you can get away with something you don’t like being done.

I have seen people perish for this reason, and I believe that we need not think that we are doing something great. I find it a beautiful job, where I get paid to do my pleasure, to externalize my world. What makes me love this job is that after many years I have seen colleagues with whom we just give a hug and that is very important».

-Does acting work for you psychotherapeutically?

Yes, acting works psychotherapeutically, because it is a conversation with yourself, with a role. There are many things that happen in a job. People watch an hour in a series or two in a show, but they cannot understand that the process to see the result takes a lot of effort».
