After her sold-out concert at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on June 18, the Taylor Swift made a generous donation to a local food bank, allowing the organization to buy food for 925 people filling nearly two trucks. With this move, she continued her philanthropic tradition of supporting food banks in every city she visits during the Eras Tour.

Cardiff foodbank chief executive Rachel Biggs said they were incredibly grateful to the singer “for shining a light on the global issue of poverty”.

“More and more people are turning to us, while a growing number of people need our support for the first time”he noted, noting that this year the charity bought more than double the amount of food compared to last year.

Cardiff Foodbank thanked the award-winning artist in a post on social media, saying the donation was “beyond their wildest dreams”.

She also agreed with her team Swift would not talk about the “generous” amount given, but said “this was a huge help”.

Ms Biggs also said, according to the BBC, that her team singer she conveyed her “personal thanks for the work of everyone who works at Cardiff Foodbank”.
