Tomorrow is his big concert at Herodion
A different and more emotional interview was given to Nancy Nicolaidou and Faia Skorda’s show “Buongiorno” by Marios Frangoulis.
On the eve of the big concert of “Symphony Of Life” in Herodio, the tenor revealed that this summer was very difficult for him too, as apart from his serious injury that forced him to postpone his appearances with Iota Nega, he also experienced the loss of of his mother, while of course he also mentioned the great adventure that Marinella is going through with her health:
“We want to give joy and love and for the world to forget that there was a negative summer. Music is a port in difficult times, especially when I see that I am going through a dark moment in my life. This year had such moments. My mother died, she was 98 years old and we had a good relationship the last few years. He always sang me a piece by Stamatis Kokkotas, “My Son”. You forgive your mother, she brought you into the world, unless you’ve gone through very difficult times”, confesses Marios Frangoulis.
“I passed bullying in elementary school, because I used to say: my aunt will come to pick me up. And they used to tell me: you have an aunt and not a mother. My aunt and uncle were my parents to me. I have learned to love and I have loved and been loved a lot, I feel that I have lived a good and very strong life”, admits the performer.
“To be able to be successful in this profession, you have to live a bit like a monk. To stay at the top, one must be a measured person. You can’t over do anything and rest on your talent. It’s not that simple”, answers Marios Frangoulis to a related question.
