Lupita Nyong’o is officially his new ambassador of Chanel. The Oscar-winning actress, producer and best-selling author from Kenya has always been a longtime friend of the house and attended the latest Chanel Spring/Summer 2025 collection during Paris Fashion Week.

She has worn many of the house’s creations in the past, even attending the previous Fall/Winter 2024 Haute Couture show and wearing a Chanel Haute Couture gown to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Museum’s Annual Gala in Los Angeles last December.

The actress made her acting debut in Steve McQueen’s Academy Award-winning film 12 Years a Slave and won an Oscar, SAG Award, Critics’ Choice Award, Independent Spirit Award and NAACP Image Award for her role. She recently launched her own Mind Your Own podcast, which focuses on non-fictional cultural narratives from the African diaspora.
