Björk will release a new book chronicling her five-year ‘Cornucopia’ tour.

‘Cornucopia: The Book’ includes the recollections, spectacle and technical details of the John Tiffany-directed ‘Cornucopia’ tour, which featured a seven-piece female flute ensemble from Iceland who collaborated on Björk’s album 2017 Utopia.

“Prior to this tour, I spent a decade working with 360-degree audio and visual software in virtual reality and animation, creating ‘Biophilia’, the first album – a multimedia exploration of music, nature and technology, and later the ‘Vulnicura’ as a VR (Virtual Reality) album. I was deeply inspired by the idea of a fully immersive experience, spending a spring in an Icelandic lighthouse, blasting “Utopia” through full surround speakers. My intention was to bring what we had created for 21st century VR to a 19th century theater — taking it from the headset to the stage.” says the singer in her post announcing the release of the book. The book was designed by M/M Paris and its 300 photos are by Santiago Felipe.
