Tatiana Blatnikin an interview she gave to BIMAgazino, she mentioned her ex-husband Nikolaos, but also her brother Atilio Brileburg who has been missing since last May. She also spoke about the decision to stay in Greece after her divorce, but also about how she manages the publicity.

– 2024 was a difficult year for you, with the disappearance of your brother and your divorce. How do you deal with this kind of adversity?

2024 was indeed a difficult year for me, a transitional year, full of moments of uncertainty and pain. But I believe that in adversity we often find our deepest strength. Life’s challenges remind me how important it is to endure, to hope, to have faith in the power of man. I leaned on my family, my friends and my wider environment for support and I drew enormous strength from them. Additionally, my involvement with mental health has been therapeutic for me as it has allowed me to channel my energy into something positive, with a positive impact.

Everything happened at the same time, it was like an avalanche of changes in plain sight. And at the same time I was working on The Uniform of Hope campaign, so I couldn’t withdraw from the public sphere even if I wanted to. The stories of hope and resilience shared by the athletes were a huge source of strength and inspiration for me personally during that time and for that I feel grateful and hope that our campaign can support and inspire others to overcome life’s difficulties, as it happened to me.

During that time, I also learned the importance of allowing oneself to feel, grieve, process one’s emotions, and move forward with self-compassion. Through these challenges I realized that while we cannot control what happens to us, we can choose how we react. I move forward with hope, knowing that even in the darkest moments there is always light and the opportunity to grow.

My message to those facing adversity is to remember that we are never truly alone and that with patience and meaningful connection with those around us and with ourselves we can overcome even the most difficult situations.

– You have decided to stay in Greece for this new phase of your life. What are the reasons you made this decision?

It was never a question of staying in Greece, I really feel at home here. This country welcomed me from the first moment I arrived, and for that I am incredibly grateful. I have lived in Greece longer than anywhere else, while I have been constantly on the move all my life. The people, the culture and the sense of community have made me feel at home here, in every way. I am also happy that my own family has started to feel Greece as their home, My mother spends a lot of time here and my brother, Boris, has invested business in the country. I am committed to continue building my life here, promoting the country for investment, both in health and wellness, but also as the ultimate wellness destination and working on initiatives and projects to benefit the society that has embraced me so warmly

– How do you handle the often intrusive nature of publicity?

Although I consider myself a person who seeks privacy, I am also inherently approachable. I do not perceive interest in my life as a violation, but as an honor. That’s why I always try to respond with kindness. Of course, when private matters come to light or rumors spread, it can be challenging to manage, but it’s part of the life I’ve chosen. As a human being I feel blessed to have the opportunity to interact with my fellow human beings and I try to focus on the positive aspects of those interactions.
