Fátima Bernardes, Maísa Silva and Paris Hilton were some of the celebrities who mourned the death of Liam Payne. The former One Direction singer was found dead this Wednesday (16), in Buenos Aires. He was 31 years old.
The cause of death was a fall from the third floor of a hotel, whether accidental or not. The Argentine police are investigating the case.
On her Instagram profile, Fátima posted a photo with the artist and wrote: “How sad to hear about the tragic death of a 31-year-old young man. Liam Payne was with me at the Meeting in June 2018. He was in Brazil to promote his work solo after the end of One Direction. In addition to singing, he talked to fans and told about his future plans.
On X, Paris Hilton also spoke out about the artist’s death. “So sad to hear the news about Liam Payne’s passing. I send my love and condolences to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, my friend,” the socialite wrote.
Maísa Silva, 22, who grew up in the One Direction generation, was shaken by the death of her idol. “Rest in peace, Liam Payne. I will never forget the day I was able to interview one of the singers who were part of the soundtrack of my childhood and adolescence. That moment will forever be in my heart. Thank you for everything”, wrote Maísa.
