Juliette gets emotional when remembering diagnosis of aneurysm

Former BBB Juliette Freire, 32, was moved during an interview with Pedro Bial, in the early hours of this Wednesday (9), when remembering the scare that took her to be diagnosed with an aneurysm, in August of last year.

The diagnosis was given when Juliette was accompanying her mother in heart surgery in São Paulo. The medical team suggested a check up and, after the exams, told the BBB 21 champion that she had an aneurysm in the same place her sister had it.

His sister, Julienne, died at age 17 after suffering a stroke caused by an aneurysm. Her mother also had a stroke.

Upon receiving the news and information about the possibilities of treatment, Juliette believed she was going to die.

“I was sure that my mission had been accomplished, that this was the purpose, that it was over”, he said, in Conversa com Bial.

The discovery took place at the beginning of the artist’s musical career. She had just released her first EP and there was a party atmosphere around her. “And I was swallowing the pain of knowing I had the same problem as my mother and sister,” she said. “People asked me for everything and I had nothing else. I was just afraid and then just acceptance”.

Juliette took three months to accept the treatment. This happened when the singer Marília Mendonça died in a plane crash, which caused commotion in people close to her.

The former BBB came to take anesthesia and go to the operating table. Upon waking up, however, she discovered that she did not have an aneurysm, but a specific and rare formation. “I live on miracles,” she told her of the relief she felt.

At the end of 2021, the artist had already talked about an aneurysm, but without giving so many details. “This year I was awarded a lot: some voting and another that I received silently. I was able to have my family by my side in good health, to see ‘Mainha’ being operated on and to be able to breathe a sigh of relief, to discover that I had an aneurysm and it disappeared from the nothing,” he reported in a video posted on social media.

In Conversa com Bial, she also talked about her fame, her friendship with Anitta and the money she earned. Juliette revealed that she has already multiplied the value of the award received at BBB 21 many times. About Anitta, she said that the singer helps her face reality and understand that all problems pass.

Juliette will debut her first musical tour on March 26, in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to this show, the artist plans to visit four other Brazilian capitals: João Pessoa (April 2nd), Recife, Vitória (April 30th) and São Paulo (May 6th). Only the show in the capital of Pernambuco still has an open date.

The tour, which will be called “Caminho”, has the artistic direction of Juzé Neto, who also shares the musical direction with Toim do Gado. In it, the singer will present songs from her first EP, such as “Diferença Mara” and “Vixe Que Gostoso”.
