Last year he was the beloved Uncle Kanellos in the series “The Witch” and even on Social Media fans are eagerly looking for him. This year the Nikos Psarras he collaborates again with Markos Papadokonstantakis (he was his nephew in Magissa) both on television, in the series “Transparent Love” and theatrically in the show “True West” and talks about everything to Panagiotis Vazaios and the Sozi that is released.

-With Markos Papadokonstandakis you make a very nice duo both in the theater and on television, where do you attribute this?

Marko and I stuck together from the first moment. That is, we went to Lefteris Charitou’s house, two or three months before we started filming “Magissa”, we sat side by side to read, rehearse and we started immediately. Since Lefteris was telling us “hey, cut it a bit, stop, get serious”. This is how our theatrical collaboration came about because, when you have a good time with a colleague, you want to meet again in special scenes. He is a very positive person, generous colleague, always with a smile and you will never hear him blame anyone. This has made a great impression on me and on my wife, Elena, who we now work together in the theater».

-Why did you choose this job?

Because I thought it was really cool to turn your hobby into a job. As a kid, I used to go and do plays at school or in groups and I felt like I was flying and I was like “fuck it, can I have this flying every day?”. There are times».

-What is your secret to staying young forever? No matter how many years pass your image is the same…

I am now 53 years old. We exorcise time with work that always keeps us fresh and alive. Of course, that’s not enough. If your personal life is scattered to the five winds, you cannot be good in your professional life either.

One is connected to the other. We have the ability to break out through our work. You can very easily cry, laugh, shout. In other words, you release yourself through the roles you play».

-So for you, your work works psychotherapeutically?

I have never had psychotherapy in my life. Through my work I was psychotherapeutic».

-Have you had any extreme case of admiration to date?

The best thing that ever happened to me was when I was a kid. I was in a bar on the beach and there was a girl. I approached her and said, “Are you looking for something?” and he says “you” to me. I replied “I’m glad you found me” and we left together. There isn’t an actor who doesn’t like it when fans say nice things to him».

-Today, flirting has changed, do you think and the approach?

Yes! I don’t flirt anymore unfortunately and I miss him a lot. Since all these apps have come out, the human touch has been lost».

-Are you being flirted with through social media?

Continuity! What they don’t know is that my wife doesn’t have social media and she has mine on her phone. So my wife usually sees everything first and then she lets me know that they sent me this… (laughs)».

-How much has family changed your life?

It calmed me down a lot. It is very nice to have a family. Be ready to have a child. Through the eyes of a child you get to know the world again. And the world is very nice when you get to know it again».
