The Boi-Bumbá Garantido Folkloric Association threatens to take legal action against the singer Ludmilla. This is because the artist placed the figure of an ox on the stage of her show Numanice, in Manaus, to interact with the public. And, according to the note, this had not been authorized.
According to the Boi Garantido association, the figure presented in the show would be fake and not the official one. When contacted, Ludmilla did not comment.
“We clarify that, although the Association was consulted, the proposal presented for the production of the event was rejected. The subsequent hiring of an unofficial ox occurred without the knowledge and authorization of the Boi-Bumbá Garantido board,” says the statement.
At the same event, Ludmila called Boi Caprichoso, Garantido’s great rival at the Parintins Festival, to the stage. In this case, the association that takes care of the folkloric ox thanked the artist for the tribute.
“Boi-Bumbá Caprichoso embraces, with the strength of our star, the great artist that is Ludmilla. We could never deny our presence in a show by someone who not only embraced our culture, but also welcomed our people with so much affection”, says the publication .
