The public fight that took place in the middle of the year between José de Abreu and Murilo Rosa apparently came to an end.
The Globo veteran published an apology on his official Instagram page and stated that asking for forgiveness is a gift and forgiving is a blessing.
“I, José de Abreu, would like to publicly retract the posts made on my social networks regarding Mr Murilo Rosa. I recognize that the aforementioned posts are not true and were offensive. I apologize for the attacks unfairly directed at him and whatever he has caused to their family members.”
The public fight between the two began after an interview with Maria Zilda, who at the time confided in Rosa that Abreu had bad breath. The actor responded and said that Murilo would be a “shit” and that “if he was worthy”, he would have defended him.
Abreu also published a photo of Rosa’s father, who died in August 2023, and his minor son. At the time, the actor said he would go to court for the attitude that he classified as disrespectful and unacceptable.
“In relation to the grief that Murilo was experiencing, I also want to apologize for using a photo and messing with something so sensitive! Anyway, life goes on!”, concluded Abreu.
Rosa, in turn, also shared the court decision on her social networks and stated that she believes in her colleague’s kind words.
“Forgiveness takes us to surprising places and today was like that. The judge ended the hearing by saying enthusiastic words and I was very happy about that. It was a good moment for everyone.”
