It is not Marília Gabriela who appears criticizing Moraes in a viral video

It is false that presenter Marília Gabriela is the author of a viral video criticizing Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Supreme Federal Court). The recording, published by Bolsonarista profiles and viewed more than 165 thousand times as of November 14, was made by someone else.

In the video, a white woman with blonde hair, glasses and a deeper voice, says, among other things: “Alexandre de Moraes, your time has come. At all times, we knew that Justice would arrive because God does not sleep.” The post, with the caption “Marília Gabriela sent the real thing about Xandão”, was originally published on August 14, one day after the Sheet publish that Moraes’ office ordered the production of unofficial reports by the Electoral Court to support the minister’s own decisions in the STF.

The author of the video is, in fact, Regina Velloso, who presents herself on social media as a “mentor and leader”. This is not the first time that posts have tried to falsely associate her with Marília Gabriela. Like the Mônica Bergamo column, from Sheet, showed, the presenter was the target of misinformation last year, in a video criticizing the Lula government and alleged abuses of the Rouanet Law.

“It’s a lie and very poorly done. It doesn’t even deserve a comment to avoid spreading this nonsense”, stated Marília Gabriela at the time.

AFP has also already carried out two checks of posts that lied when stating that Regina Velloso was the presenter.
