Sebastian Stanwho stars in the biopic about Donald Trump, “The Apprentice”centered on his 1970s relationship with attorney Roy Cohn, has said that other actors in Hollywood are too “scared” of the president-elect to attend media with him.

During a recent Q&A about the film in Los Angeles with director Ali Abbasi, Stan said: “I couldn’t get another actor to join me because they were too scared to go and talk about this film. So I couldn’t do it.”

“I get love from some of the greatest actors, directors, producers and writers who have seen the film and love it” said the actor. “But I had an offer to take part in Variety’s Actors on Actors and I couldn’t find another actor to join me.”

“I’m not pointing to anyone in particular” Sebastian Stan continued. “We couldn’t get approval from the public relations people or the people who represented them because they were too afraid to talk about this film.” he clarified.

“What Sebastian stated is accurate” Variety editor Ramin Setude told “Deadline.” “We invited him to be on Actors on Actors, but other actors didn’t want to be with him because they didn’t want to talk about Donald Trump.”
