Liam Payne was carried through the hotel lobby before he died, says newspaper

Shortly before falling from the balcony of the hotel where he was staying in Argentina, Liam Payne had to be carried back to his room by security guards.

Security camera footage obtained by American newspaper TMZ shows the singer standing in the lobby seconds before needing to be held down by three employees at the Palermo hotel. He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.

According to the report, he was acting disoriented and could have been under the influence of drugs. When he was taken back to the room, Payne was reportedly reluctant to enter. The men would then have used a management card to gain entry.

The newspaper also said that employees had removed a mirror near the singer’s hallway so that he wouldn’t break it.

In the call to the police made by one of the receptionists, the man states that he was afraid that the singer would get hurt, as the noise of things breaking was coming from the place. Next to the artist’s body, there was a crossbody bag and a cap.

In September, Payne allegedly used the balcony of a room in Miami to go out, according to the article. The case would have happened when a bodyguard placed him there to prevent him from consuming drugs.
