SP Justice Department opens investigation against Ana Paula Minerato after racist audio

After the leak of an audio with statements by model Ana Paula Minerato, the São Paulo State Department of Justice and Citizenship opened an administrative proceeding last Monday (25) to determine whether the former Band presenter committed racism against the singer Ananda, from the Melanina Carioca group.

The Secretariat informed the F5 which, through the Coordination of Policies for the Black Population (CPPN), “opened a file at the Ombudsman’s Office to investigate the case and will notify the parties involved, guaranteeing the right to present a preliminary defense.” Wanted by F5Ana Paula and her defense have not yet commented.

The Secretariat also said that it is available to Ananda, offering support and guidance.

In the leaked audio, Ana Paula calls Ananda a “girl with hard hair” in conversation with KT Gomez, a rapper with whom she had a relationship for a period. “The maid, the one with the hard hair. Do you like hard hair, KT? I didn’t know you liked the girl with the hard hair”, says the model.

Shortly after the leak, Gaviões da Fiel, a São Paulo Carnival samba school linked to Corinthians, removed Ana Paula from her role as drum muse. Band also fired her from the daily radio program she presented, Estação Band FM.

Ananda said on his Instagram last Monday (25) that he would comment on the matter, which has not yet happened. She just sent a message to the model: “Weren’t you a woman to speak? Now you’re going to be a woman to bear it.”
