Internet users point out that the influencer does not sing excerpts from Imperatriz Leopoldinense’s samba that mention Exu, an orixá from African-based religions. After the repercussions, the former BBB member defended herself and said that once again she is the target of attacks and assumptions based on a small excerpt.

“I’m a Christian. And my faith teaches me daily the importance of coexisting with different religions. It’s an honor to be able to parade in Imperatriz Leopoldinense and, together with her, tell the saga of Oxalá to the kingdom of Oyó to visit Xangô, a beautiful journey that teaches profound values”, she stated in a note sent through her press office to F5.

The actress also said that her art is at the service of all stories, especially those that she believes need to be told.

“I sincerely hope that we can learn to value differences and see in others an opportunity for dialogue and understanding, instead of judgment.”

The school presented the plot “Ómi Tútu ao Olúfon – Fresh water for the Lord of Ifón” for the 2025 Carnival. In the video circulating on the internet, it is possible to hear the excerpt that says: “Offer Exu… an ebó to protect / Exu’s penance, he doesn’t let himself cool down / He breaks the silence with his laughter / It’s a closed gate, it’s the burden of duty.”

Kalimann, who is the muse of Imperatriz Leopoldinense, does not reproduce Exu’s name during the 30 seconds of video.

Religious, the actress has previously stated that she changed words from her character’s script in “Família É Tudo” (Globo). She explained that she did not say the word “disgrace”, which was forbidden in her house.

“I don’t like it, it’s very heavy. It’s a word that if I said at home, my parents would say ‘don’t say that'”, he told a podcast at the time.
