The “Traveling Docs” program, supported by eleven Creative Europe Offices MEDIA and this year is managed by the respective Greek, aims to develop the thinking and awareness of the human resources of the film and audiovisual industry to reduce its environmental footprint. Encouraging the production of documentaries on ecological issues is one aspect of this program. The other concerns the planning of the future of the film and audiovisual industry with a view to its sustainable development.
The participants in the discussion will share their experience looking for specific answers to the question: how will the production of documentaries become more environmentally friendly. Traveling Docs will participate: o Alberto Battocchi (Film Commissioner – Trentino Film Commission), η Dr. Judith Keilbach (Program Director at MA Film and Television Studies Utrecht University), Julia Tordai (co-founder of GreenEyes), the Zsofia Szemeredy (co-founder of GreenEyes), o Tim Wagendorp, (sustainable development consultant at the Audiovisual Fund of Flanders). The discussion will be moderated by Emma Doxiadis (producer and director – filmsos).
