Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco get engaged: ‘Forever begins now’

Singer and actress Selena Gomez, 32, and music product Benny Blanco, 36, are engaged. The news was shared by herself on her social networks. In a publication, he showed details of the moment and, of course, the ring he received from his lover.

“Forever begins now,” she wrote in the caption. Both have been together since June 2023. The couple met at work, as Blanco helped her produce some hits like “I Can’t Get Enough”, in 2019, with Tainy and J Balvin.

In August 2023, Selena released another Blanco-produced single, “Single Soon”. From then on, the two began to be seen together more. Their first public appearance as a couple was in January of this year at the Emmys.

Selena spent five years single and even said in an interview with Time magazine that if she didn’t find a partner, she would adopt a baby when she turned 35.

“I was alone for five years and I really got used to it. A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself for a couple of years, and then I kind of accepted it. I came up with my plan: adopt at 35 if I hadn’t met anyone . But things just happen when you least expect it.”
