During one of the shows on the “Eras” tour in Brazil, Taylor Swift’s high heels, full of stones, broke. The singer, who turns 35 this Friday (13), took off her funky part and played it to the audience.

The heel, from the Louboutin brand, ended up in the hands of publicist Felipe Conrado. In an interview with F5 at the time, he stated that he would use the “gift” to pay for his cousin’s skin cancer treatment, discovered days before the American’s visit to Brazil, in November 2023.

A year after the incident, Conrado stated that Ângela managed to get treatment, but without him having to get rid of the jump. That’s because the lucky break went viral on the networks and reached Christian Louboutin.

The designer of the iconic red sole contacted the publicist and offered to pay for his cousin’s treatment.

“The first thing I did was call my cousin, who cried with happiness and emotion. We are immensely grateful for his gesture, as he brought light and hope at a time when the disease itself was already challenging,” said Conrado in an interview to the American magazine People. “That jump came to our family at the right time.”

In September, Angela’s procedures came to an end.
